The Quiet Compromise For years, we viewed cleaning as a chore—a mundane task accomplished with brightly colored, mass-produced liquids. But as we looked closer, we realized a quiet compromise had been made in American households. We were polluting our sanctuary in the name of cleaning it, filling our air with endocrine disruptors and synthetic binders. We were tired of choosing between “safe” cleaners that didn’t actually work, and “industrial” chemicals that gave us headaches.
The Origin As a family of contractors, parents, and believers, our standards were uncompromising. We needed products that were powerful enough to clean a job site, yet pure enough to clean a high chair. When we couldn’t find them, we decided to make them.
The Standard Holt Family Labs was born out of a desire to return to true, raw chemistry. Formulated in Scottsdale and perfected by science, we refuse to use artificial fillers. Instead, we rely on pure solvents, distilled acids, and unbound botanicals to do the heavy lifting.
